Appearance:

Short and small (about 5'4). Petite is a good word. She used to be called a runt when she was a child. She has big,
forest-green eyes and pink, pouty lips. She's quite pale for a gypsy, but her raven black, curly ringlets always give her away. (They reach down slightly past her shoulders.) She's rather skinny, but not frail, and looks quite healthy. See a picture of her here.

Relatively simple, yet pretty: Usually a solid colored shirt, vest, corset and flowered skirt. Performance outfit is either a golden-yellow dress or a grass-green one with a purple and blue striped corset. She wears boots during performances and inside one of them is a small knife. She likes gold jewelry and always wears a gold hoop in her left ear, from which she sometimes hangs ribbons or flowers. A scarf sits on her head, usually the same fabric of her skirt. |

Very sweet and shy, except when on stage. She's helpful and considers everyone to be her friend, if they are her friends in return. She's usually quiet and reserved and only her close friends know a lot about her. She's very intriguing and sweet when you get to know her. She has many interesting tales to tell of her own childhood. She's had many great ordeals in her life already and can lend an ear to anyone who's ever been abandoned or who's ever been an outcast- even within a group considered already to be outcasts. Even with everything she's been put through, she's still impossibly kind. |

She loves to dance, although she's not as graceful as she wishes to be. She loves to create things and uses her creativity as an outlet when she's upset or bored. A hidden talent: knife throwing. |

Acting on a whim, without thinking first. In a crisis, she panicks and sometimes acts irrationally. It's best to stay off her bad side. She holds a grudge quite well and those pretty green eyes can stop a person dead in their tracks when she gets angry enough.

History:

Little known. She came to the Court of Miracles when she was 10, with her 16 year-old sister, Marietta. Their parents left them there together to continue to roam the countryside. They spent most of their time traveling through Italy, although Opal herself was born in France.
