History:

Mirette was born the first child of Gerard and Marie-Claire Rideau. When she was five her parents had another child, but due to his deformities the townsfolk feared him; so about two weeks after the child was born a large, rather drunk group of townsfolk came to burn down the Inn that Mirette's family owned. Marie-Claire gave Mirette and little Erik to one of the Gypsies they had harbored in the cellar and told her to escape. The newly orphaned Mirette and Erik stayed with the Gypsies, each with a different family. A mere two months later the family Erik was with went to Paris, never to be seen again.... or so everyone thinks... Mirette traveled on the road for a few years learning Gypsy customs until her kumpania went to Paris... where she decided to stay.
