Huguette
Appearance:
Alikhat drew a picture of Huguette - click here to view.
Age:
52 during HoND (born in 1430)
Gender:
Female
Personality:
She is bitter and rather paranoid, and has never been able to make friends easily (due to both a language barrier - Provencal was rather different from French, and she understands French but still speaks it with an accent - and Baptiste's attempts to keep her locked up).
History:
Born Huguette Nagane in the village of Menerbes in Provence, she married the baker Baptiste Martin in Paris in 1455. Things didn't work out... Since then her only real friend has been Baptiste's younger brother Auguste, inventor of the "clockwork" spit-turner and frustrated horologist for Notre-Dame.

Huguette neglected her faith after a brief fling with Auguste and so has been unknowingly searching for something to put her trust in. When the gypsies offered her friendship, she took the plunge with an enthusiasm which surprised even herself.

Note: The action of "Huguette's Tale" takes place two years before HoND.
