Her parents and grandfather were evicted from their farm in Scotland. On their travels they met with Clopin's tribe in the CoM. Clopin's family accepted them and taught them illusions. A male gypsy fell in love with her mother and had been enraged after she rejected him. After giving birth, he killed her and turned her father to Frollo. The killer attempted to eliminate Amy, but the baby had been rescued by her grandfather. The old man departed from Paris and abandoned her in Calais. Sizteen years later, Amy had been raised by local gypsy tribe and later rescued her grandfather from aggressive guards in a brawl. Her grandfather informed her about the tragedy and she wanted vengence! Amy decided to return to Paris to find the killer.
